Pin Box Replacement Recommendation for Lippert 1621 to Provide Most Turning Clearance

Since you have a Lippert 1621 pin box and are looking for a way to increase the clearance between the truck cab and the nose of the trailer what you really want is a Sidewinder pin box as it moves the pivot point back 22-1/2 inches.

We also have a Sidewinder that is cushioned too. For that you'd want part # RP61422. Or for without the air spring you'd want # RP34FR.

Trying to increase turning clearance with a Trailair won't really give you much of a difference as in general they intend to make these as close to the dimensions of the pin box as possible.
