Installing Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller from Honda Pilot on 2017 Ford F-150
Question:
I purchased recently a prodigy break controller for my 2014 Honda pilot. Can I disassemble this and use the same wire connector for another vehicle I just purchased 2017 ford F1 50?

The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 can be removed from your Honda Pilot and installed on your new 2017 Ford F-150, but you will need a new plug-in wiring adapter. For the F-150, you will use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 22292. One end of the adapter will plug into the controller itself and the other end will connect to the built-in harness beneath the truck's dash.
I have attached an installation video on the 2016 F-150 for you to check out.
The # 3070-P Plug-In Wiring Harness that you used to install the P2 in your Honda Pilot is designed to fit certain model years of the Honda Pilot, Ridgeline and Acura MDX. It will not be compatible with your new Ford F-150.
