How Often Should Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box Need to be Inflated

Question:

Hi, I have a 2017 Grand Design Reflection 303rls. I purchased it new and had the dealer install the new pin box. Every time I use it I have to inflate the rubber wheel, is this normal? It seems to deflate quickly i.e. I am parked for 2 weeks and I need to inflate it. Thanks.

You do want to check to make sure the Trailair Flex Air # LC328492 has air every trip but it shouldn't need air after only two weeks normally. It's unlikely the bag has a leak so I would check the Schrader valve. Try removing it and adding some tape around the threads would be the first step. If that doesn't work you may need to go back to the dealer that installed it.
