Recommended Double Step for 2016 Rockwood Forest River Freedom Pop-Up Camper
Question:
Hi there, I am looking to replace my single 5-inch step with a double step. Its a 20-inch wide version, on a 2016 Rockwood Forest River Freedom pop-up model 1950. Hopefully one exists that can just bolt into the current mounting holes! Thanks,

For your 2016 Rockwood Forest River Freedom 1950 Pop-Up Camper, I recommend looking at the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps # SMFP-2120. This 2-step unit features 20 inch wide steps with a non-slip surface and a 1-1/2 inch wide strip of grip tape on the step edges for additional traction.
The mounting base dimension is 23-5/8 inches wide and 8 inches deep. The bolt hole pattern is 20-1/2 inches wide and 7 inches deep. I recommend measuring the mounting space on your camper to see if this will bolt onto the existing mounting holes.
I have attached a short demonstration video on this product as well as a link that will take you to our available selection of double step units for you to look through.
