Installing a 7-Way Trailer Connector with Test Lamps and Wiring for an Electric Brake Controller
Question:
I would like to install the 4-7 way adapter: # C57674, but I very much like the install kit #ETBC7, but the adapter with that kit does not have the indicator lights. Can the adapter in the kit #ETBC7 be replaced with adapter C57674?

Instead of using the # ETBC7 kit you can use the Curt Adapter # C57674 with wiring # 5506. The wiring provides basically everything in the # ETBC7 except for the 7-way trailer connector itself.
One thing to be aware of is some electric brake controllers will sense a trailer is connected all the time when using a 7-way that has test lights like the Curt. Because of this I recommend making sure you have a high quality brake controller like the P2 # 90885 or P3 # 90195.
