How To Install Trailer Lights On A Trailer Without Tail Lights

I just came across a Q+A regarding Pilot Magnetic Tow Lights # NV-5164 - I am trying to avoid having Hyundai change me 00 bucks to install the harness for a hitch - I only use the trailer for light loads mulch, plywood, etc — how do I connect to my vehicle 2017 Hyundai Tuscon Sport 1.6T . . or would this work better . . Roadmaster Tow Bar Wiring RM-2120 Review . . and how does that connect to my vehicle signalling system ?

The Roadmaster Deluxe Magnetic Tow Lights part # RM-2120 you are referring to are designed to be placed on the rear of the vehicle in a flat tow situation. If you are wanting to tow a trailer with your 2017 Hyundai Tucson, then you will want the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118501 as this will allow you to hook up your vehicle's tail lights to your trailer tail lights while towing. It is also a plug and play connection therefore you will not need to splice or hardwired into any circuits.
