Recommended Offset Gooseneck Adapter For 5th Wheel Rails On 2015 Ram 2500 Short Bed

Question:

I have the Curt 5th wheel setup for my 15 Ram 2500 and am looking to get the gooseneck adapter to use in my truck as well. My question is: I have the short bed on my truck and need to know if I should use the centered ball adapter or if I should use the offset adapter?

For your 2015 Ram 2500 short bed with Curt 5th wheel rails, I recommend the Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails - 3" Offset - 25,000 lbs # 16055. Because you have the short bed, this will give you a little more clearance around turns.
