Recommended Slide-Topper for 71 Inch Awning

Question:

for an Awning slide out cover, my awning is 71inch outside flange to outside flange, so would I need the 6.5foot awning? 71inch + 5inch = 76? Thanks.

For the 71 inch measurement you took from outside flange to outside flange on your trailer, you will actually want a 7 foot slider like the Solera # LCV000168105 in Black or # LCV000163285 in White. While the slider is 84 inches wide, it has a box range of 74 inches to 79-3/4 inches. The box width is measured on the outside front of box, including flange. Then, as you mentioned in your question, you will select a box size that extends a minimum of 2-1/2 inches beyond each side (5 inches total). The 74 to 79-3/4 inch range will be perfect for your 71 inch awning measurement.
