Recommended Replacement Jack For 2014 XLR Hyperlite 27HFS

Question:

A frame replacement jack for 2014 XLR HYPERLITE 27HFS. Recommendations for replacement and how to extend the life of my next one. Have not measured or figured out the capacity of the one I have. The pin in the crank handle sheared off. Should I be able to fix it or should I replace it.?

For your trailer I recommend the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack - Sidewind - 15" Lift - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B. This jack capacity is greater than you will need but will give you the strength and durability you were missing in your factory jack. Without knowing the actual brand of the jack or the capacity it would be very difficult to know what parts you would need to rebuild or if the parts are even available. This will be an easy replacement that will give you a standard tube diameter and bolt pattern compatible with your trailer coupler. I recommend using the Footplate for 2,000-lb and 5,000-lb Round, A-Frame Jacks # JF-99 for a sturdy base that is compatible.
