Weight Distribution System Recommendations for a 30 Foot Diamond Cargo Trailer with 8 Tall Frame
Question:
I am purchasing a new 30foot Diamond Cargo Trailer. It has a 8inch tube frame 2x8. I want to purchase the BXW2000, but In the Specs section, it notes for use with 3inch - 6inch frames. With it being a Clamp-On, will it still work with a 8inch tube frame? Thank you for responding.

I do have a great solution for you but the Blue Ox SwayPro system # BXW2000 will not work with frames taller than 6 inches because the spring bars would be up to high and make contact with the trailer frame.
If you can use a system that is rated up to 1,200 pounds tongue weight you can use Husky Center Line system # HT32218 which does fit up to 8 inch tall trailer frames.
Another option is to use a chain hanging system such as Reese Strait-Line system # RP66075 rated for 1,000 to 1,700 pounds tongue weight and add chain hangers # C17005 which limits the gross trailer weight capacity of the weight distribution system to 15,000 pounds. The Reese system does not come with a shank though so if you are needing a 2-1/2 inch shank you can use # RP54977. And for a ball you can use # 63840. This same shank can be used with the above mentioned Husky system.
