Is There an Adapter Needed to Use the Thule Spare Me with Mountain Bikes
Question:
Regarding the Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack, do mountain bikes hardtail suspension for now require an adapter, or do these work with most road and mountain bikes w/o having to purchase something additional? Thanks!

The Thule Spare Me # TH963PRO doesn't require any adapter for mountain bikes.
The only adapter you need is a frame adapter bar like the Kuat Ubar # UB01. This is used to create the horizontal top cross tube on bikes that don't have one like a women's bike. It creates the contact point for a hanging rack and helps keep a bike level.
