Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancement for 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Motorhome

Question:

I have a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter Chasis with a Coachman Motorhome on top. Im trying to find a jounce or spring to stiffen up the ride and reduce sway. The RV weighs around 11k but its constant so I dont need anything adjustable. Any suggestions? I see the timbren MBRSP35A fits but saw a review on the weight being too much. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

For your Coachman Motorhome with a 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 Chassis, I recommend looking at the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-338-47 for the rear axle. These 900 pound capacity springs will support a heavy load to level your ride and minimize sway. Although the units provide progressive load control, these are maintenance-free springs, which means you will not need to adjust or monitor them like you would with air springs. I have attached the installation details and a short demonstration video on this product for you to check out.

For the front axle, I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSF-106-47 with a 1,000 pound capacity.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TMBRSP35A referenced in your question has a 7,000 pound capacity and, as you mentioned, will most likely provide a rough ride for your particular application. This is why I recommend going with a lighter duty suspension enhancement system.
