Parts Needed to Add Trailer Brakes to Trailer w Spindle Dimensions that Match L68149/L44649
Question:
i have a sure lube axle. I measured and it looks like the following Inner bearing: L68149 outer bearing: L44649 5 on 4 1/2 Will this drum assembly allow me to add electric brakes or do i need to use a e-z lube assembly?

If the dimensions of your spindle match the bearings of the hub part # AKHD-545-35-K then the hub will fit the spindle. The spindles would need to be 1.06 inch and 1.378 inch where the bearings ride and 1.7 where the seal rides.
For a brake assembly kit that includes both assemblies you would want the part # AKEBRK-35-SA.
Do you have brake flanges behind the spindle? I attached a picture of what the flange should look like.
