Kayaks can vary a lot in length and weight. My basic 10-foot Ascend model weighs about 40-lbs but ocean-going and fishing kayaks can be over 20-feet and over 100-lbs. You'll want to note the boat's actual weight before selecting a carrier. Since your roof has a finite weight capacity (which should be noted in your owner's manual) you want to be sure to choose a carrier such that the combined weight of the carrier and kayak remains within the vehicle's capacity.

For a solid basic J-style carrier consider the Thule Hull-A-Port # TH834 which is confirmed to fit on your T&C factory bars. This carrier is a side-loading model that can handle up to a 75-lb kayak.

If you prefer a lower-cost J-style carrier the Rhino-Rack # S510 is a good option.
