Is the Cargo Carrier # e98874 Compatible with a 2015 Subaru Forester and 2016 Nissan Frontier
Question:
Got a 2015 Subaru Forester and a 2016 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X. Would like to know if I can use the etrailer Cargo Carrier e98874 interchangeable in both vehicles. Also, does the cargo carrier block the backup camera when folded? Thanks

The 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # e98874 should fit just fine on both your 2015 Subaru Forester and your 2016 Nissan Frontier as long as they both have 2 inch trailer hitch receivers. You can do some measuring just to make sure though. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when it is folded up is 9-1/2 inches. Typically this will be enough room but you can go measure it if you feel the need to. That same measurement with the carrier folded down is 1-1/2 inches.
Unless the camera you are referring to is towards the top of the vehicle then yes the cargo carrier will block the backup camera from being fully functional. You can also measure this too by measuring 27-1/4 inches up from the center of the hitch pin hole. This will give you an estimated height of the etrailer # e98874 carrier.
I also recommend going with the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232 and CargoBuckle Cam Buckle Tie-Down Straps # IMF12637 to secure your carrier and equipment.
