Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Short Bed with B and W Gooseneck Installed

Question:

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 mega cab with the 6.7 liter diesel. currently it has the BandW hidden goose neck hitch. I will eventually like to put a 5th wheel hitch like the Demco autoslider but I still would want to pull a goose neck from time to time. Is there any way to leave the hidden hitch installed and then just install the above rail kit in the bed for the 5th wheel or would I have to remove the hidden hitch due to the brackets occupying the same space on the frame rails. Or is there and adapter to be able to use the hidden hitch and pin the auto slider 5th wheel hitch to it instead of installing brackets? Thanks,

Since you have a B and W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch installed in the bed of your I have a great fifth wheel towing solution we can provide. The B and W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3400 is a slider hitch that is designed to fit directly to your gooseneck hitch and would be the perfect solution to allow you to have the ability to tow either style of trailer.

With the hitch removed you could easily reinsert the gooseneck ball and tow a gooseneck trailer.
