Installing the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Package

Question:

I have a 2017 ram 3500 w the puck system from the dealer. If i get the 5th wheel adapter, do i need an under bed mount or was that already installed by the dealer? Does the puck system allow the adapter to attach to the frame automatically?

If you decide to use the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for the Ram OEM Towing Package, # DM6099, you will not need any other equipment to install the adapter to your vehicle.

The adapter will sit in the bed of the truck and the puck on the adapter will insert into the towing sockets in the bed. The attached video shows how to install the adapter rails on a Ram with the OEM tow package.

One installed, any 5th wheel hitch that can be installed on industry standard rails can be mounted to the Demco adapter plate.
