Question:
I have the demco dm 8550034 hijacker. It has the capture plate with the locking bars. I have the MOR/ryde king pin box. Is the the DM6025 necessary with this kingpin box? Thanks

On all MOR/Ryde cushioned pin boxes , the Demco Catch Plate, # DM6025, will have to be installed for the pin box to be able to work with the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch, # DM8550034.
My contact at Demco confirmed with me that using this catch plate will keep the MOR/Ryde king pin from rotating in the Hijacker's hitch head. This will make the connection between the hitch and king pin secure to allow the Demco hitch to correctly operate the auto slide feature.
