Recommended 3500 lb Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System With EZ Lube Spindles And Idler Hubs

Question:

Im looking to replace my axle assembly on a old homemade trailer Im rebuilding. I cant seem to find the exact components on your site and wondering if you could help me compile part numbers for the purchase. Looking for the following. Axle assembly: 2,700-3,500 lb round axle 2 3/8 or slightly smaller axle tube diameter 60inch hub to hub, 65inch overall an inch or two wider is fine, 45inch leaf center hole to center hole or custom weldable spring perches. Hubs: Would like EZ-lube idler hubs Either 5x4.5 or 6x5.5 bolt pattern Weight rated for which ever axle you might have in the aforementioned range. Ive found what I think are the right hubs, but I can quite pair them with the correct axle. Any help with finding the correct complete setup to piece together would be appreciated. Thanks

We don't have the length of axle that you are looking for, however I have a solution for you. I recommend the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System w Hubs - Straight Spindle - 5 on 4-1/2 - # A35RS545. This system allows you to mount directly to your trailer frame and replaces the need for leaf springs or special measurements. If there is a crossbar in the frame at your axle point, you won't need anything but to bolt the system in place. If there is not a cross brace in your trailer frame at the axle location, you can simply use a 2 inch square bar that fits in the integrated holes on this system. Either way, you will have better ground clearance than the thicker through axle.

This system has a 3,500 lb capacity and has the EZ lube spindles and 5 on 4-1/2 idler hubs. This gives you the complete system you need with a bolt-on assembly.
