Expert Reply:

The combined weight of your mobility scooter and its carrier, 87-kg or 191-1/2-lbs, is just within the tongue weight (TW) rating of the light-duty Class I hitches offered for this vehicle. All hitch fits are shown on the linked page and these vary based on the specific version of the Focus you have.

I reviewed an online owner's manual or the 2006 Focus but it did not indicate any specific TW rating for the car so you'll want to check your manual (or with your local dealership using the car's VIN) to confirm that it too is adequately rated for the total TW load of the chair and carrier.

If the car is not rated for that much TW you will need to use a small utility trailer to transport the chair.
