When selecting tires for your 7K GVWR enclosed trailer you'll want to determine the load on each tire. If the trailer is a tandem axle then that weight is divided among the four tires, 1750-lbs on each tire. Naturally, safety margin in the form of higher weight capacity than you actually need is a very good idea. Operating a tire below its maximum capacity means it will run cooler, and since heat is a trailer tire's worst enemy, tires that run cooler will tend to last longer.
The linked page displays all special trailer tires. Just select your size by clicking on the appropriate filter. Then you can select the tire type you want, radial or bias ply, and the load range. We offer trailer tires in load ranges B through J, depending on the size.
