Suspension Enhancement Solution for 2014 Ford F-250 With Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Installed

Question:

I installed this rail kit with a Curt Q20 hitch about 4 years ago. Now I Need to remove the frame brackets in order to install Ride Rite 2597 Air Helper Springs on my 2014 F-250. Apparently the bolts on the frame/ bracket were torqued down very tightly because I am not able to shake them loose. I have tried an impact wrench with a soaking of penetrating oil, without success. Do you, the experts, have any ideas? Thank you,

I hate to say you'd have to grind them off, but if an impact and penetrating oil won't take it off I am unsure there is a different option available.

Have you considered a Timbren system instead that would allow you to leave the rail kit installed like part # TFR250SDG which is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Ford F-250.
