Can Prodigy RF Brake Controller Install on 2016 GMC Canyon with Towing Package

Hello I have a 2016 GMC Canyon complete with the HD factory towing option. Im interested in the Tekonsha Prodigy RF brake controller. Will this setup be compatible with my truck? Is any additional wiring or modifications required? Thank you in advance.

The Prodigy RF brake controller part # TK94FR is a great controller that can easily be used on your 2016 GMC Canyon as long as it has a functioning 7-way that has all of the trailer lighting functions complete as well as the 12 volt accessory power circuit. This is the pin in the 1:00 position.

Since yours has the HD towing package it would have a fully functioning 7-way so you would be good to go as-is.
