Will Pro Series 5th Wheel Hitch Fit in 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 6-1/2 Foot Bed

Would this hitch fit a 2002 1500 extended cab Silverado? 6.5 ft bed.

The Pro Series Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch # PS30128 is a universal installation and can be installed in your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.

However, since you have the 6-1/2 foot bed we recommend using a sliding hitch for additional turning clearance. For the slider use # PS30129.

If your trailer is equipped with a Reese Sidewinder or Revolution pin box then you'll want to stick with the fixed hitch instead of the sliding hitch.
