Does Using Outriggers to Mount RV Steps Raise or Lower the Steps

does the sm-01 raise/lower the steps, or is it just a stouter anchor to MH

The outriggers # LC301704 would lower the steps but only by the thickness of the outriggers where they attach to the frame of the trailer assuming that any original mounting holes where in about the same position as those on the outriggers. Otherwise it would lower the steps by about 2 inches.
