Can Roadmaster Tracker Tow Bar Be Used to Flat Tow 2006 Hummer H3
Question:
I am interested in the Trackmaster RM-020 tow bar for a 2006 H3 Hummer. I intend to pull the vehicle from Maine to Kentucky, one time only. Will this tow bar work and what base plate would I need? Thanks for your help.

The Roadmaster Tracker Tow Bar part # RM-020 can easily be used to tow your 2006 Hummer H3 once you install the Roadmaster Base Plate kit part # 2505-1 which is a confirmed fit. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
For safety cables you then would want the part # RM-643, for lighting you would want a universal, magnetic kit like part # C6304 which won't require an installation.
And finally, most states now require supplemental braking in the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
