Recommended 3 Bike Carrier For 2015 Buick Encore

Question:

Hi, I have a 2015 Buick Encore. I would like a bike rack for the back my car that can hold three bikes. It looks as though I have to have a hitch installed first and then get the bike rack. So, hitch $, installation $, bike rack $= $$$, But that cant be right!? Can it? I feel like i must not looking up the right things or I must not understand. Whats the best route? Thanks
