Curt Folding Cargo Carrier # C18100 Compatibility With Trailer Hitch Receiver On 2013 Toyota Sienna
Question:
Hi there, does folding cargo carrier item C18100, when installed on a 2013 Toyota Sienna, fold up? The video shows it cannot be installed in the folded position but I wasnt certain if that meant it couldnt be folded after installation. Thanks

The 19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs # C18100 is 4-1/2 inches from the hitch pin to the closest edge of the carrier when folded up. As long as your hitch has that clearance you will be able to use it.
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76112 has 4 inches from the hitch pin hole to the outer most part of the bumper, so the carrier would be foldable with this hitch. The Curt hitch # C13105 has a hitch pin hole 6 inches from the outermost part of the bumper, so the carrier will not fold with this trailer hitch receiver. With this cargo carrier, I recommend the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches # 63232 for additional security and a quieter ride.
If you want a little more space, I recommend the 20x60 etrailer.com Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs # e98874 which has a measurement of 9-1/2 inches from hitch pin hole to carrier rail to give you much better clearance.
