How to Latch the Roadmaster Falcon 2 All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522 Into Storage Position
Question:
I have installed the RM-522 in the 2 receiver but it falls to the ground and does not catch in a horizontal position for storage on the MH when not towing the car. What am I doing wrong?

When putting the Roadmaster Falcon 2 All-Terrain Non Binding Tow Bar, item # RM-522, in the storage position while it is mounted in the tow vehicle receiver hitch you will need to put one arm in each hand, like pushing a wheel barrow. Then level the tow bar arms out with the back of the tow vehicle. Next, push the arms fully into the storage position until you hear and feel a click when the arms are vertical or just past vertical. When the Large machine bolt head snaps into the loop at the end of the draw bar it will stay in the storage position and you can rotate the arms to the left or right. New tow bars will become easier to get into storage position after the first few times they have been used.
To Lower the arms you will need to apply a bit of pressure on the arms toward the tow vehicle with one hand, and then push the loop forward while lowering the arms.
This should get the tow bar into and out of storage position. We have a video that shows the tow bar being put into towing position and lowered that should be helpful, see link.
