Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top 3 Bike Rack for Vehicles w/ Spoilers 2012 Audi Q5
Question:
We just purchased and received the caption rack for our 2012 Audi Q5. Were not sure as to which strap method would work best given theres no space between the car roof and roof rack side rails. The vehicle has cross rails we can attach but itd be ideal if this could be avoided. Also, was a wrench suppose to be included with the rack? If so, it was missing.

For your 2012 Audi Q5 I recommend using the hatch anchor method to mount the Over-The-Top rack # HRF2-3 to the vehicle.
There is supposed to be a 10mm wrench with the Over-The-Top rack # HRF2-3 but it is one of those throw-away ones and you would probably end up using an actual 10mm wrench. The included one could have easily been mistakenly thrown out with the packaging.
