Roof Vent Recommendation for Metal Roof Lid on 2922 Trailer
Question:
I have a 2013 Trailmanor model 2922 trailer. The plastic vent covers were damage in a hail storm. The plastic vents are Ventline products. I want to replace it with a metal covered vent, item V2110. Id like to determine if various options are possible. 1 Can I just replace the broken, plastic vent covers on the existing vent assembly with a metal vent cover? 2 If I have to replace the whole thing to get the metal cover, It looks like the metal vent assembly is attached to the roof by screws on the OUTSIDE. However, my existing vents are anchored from inside, via 4 metal brackets that go across each corner of the cutout square in the ceiling. A long screw/bolt goes up into each corner bracket from inside, and then threads into the vent frame, pulling it snug against the outside top of the trailer. Can the V2110 be mounted this way, OR is there a different vent assembly I need to purchase? 3 If a new metal vent assembly is needed, will my existing garnish ring mate with the metal vent assembly? Or, if you have other ideas Id like hear them. I can take pictures if youre not sure what Im describing. Thanks,

To get a metal vent cover roof vent on your trailer you would have to replace what you have on your trailer with the part # V2110SP-24 like you mentioned. It does attach by using screws that attach through the outside like what you see in the picture I attached.
If your current vent is a Ventline this will mate with the garnish easily.
