Bike Rack Recommendation for 2 and 1-1/4 Hitches on RVs and Cars and Trucks
Question:
I plan on installing this product on the back of my class c rv that has a 2 inch receiver. I also would like to be able to move this rack from my rv to my car and truck receivers that have a 2 inch and 1 1/4 receivers. I have had bad experiences with the frame mount style tray racks loosening up and actually losing a bike so I am a little leery of the frame mount style tray racks. Is this the best rack for my application? Can you lock the bikes to the rack? how heavy is this rack ? thanks

For a bike rack that fits both and is rated for use on a motorhome, car, or truck, you can use the Swagman # S64686. It holds the bikes at the wheels. It can be used with 2" and 1-1/4" hitches and it includes both bike and hitch locks. This bike rack weighs 57 pounds and can carry bikes up to 45 pounds each. It can hold tires up to 3" wide.
