Bike Rack Solution Recommendation for When Towing A-Frame Trailer

Question:

Swagman Traveler XCS - Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack for 2inch Ball Mount - Towing. Hello I am looking to carry two or more bikes while towing a canoe trailer light utility trailer. Hitch rated to 350 pounds. Question: Better to use a dual mount hitch or a long shank? I am looking at the above rack. It would be nice to be able to carry more bikes if the situation warranted but I am afraid I will get too much weight with the pivot point on the trailer moving backwards as well. I like the idea of the wheel circles on this rack. Can you provide some opinions on 2 v. 3. v 4 carriers and comment on dual mount vs. shank, please? Maybe there is a better rack that would work with the dual mount? thank you!

For carrying a bike rack while towing a trailer the best option we have is to use a bike rack like the Swagman XC part # S64650 but by installing it in a bike bunk part # CC-275 which attaches to the A-frame of your trailer and gives you a hitch opening above the front of the trailer.
