Availability of Hitch Extender that Provides up 24 inches of Extension with 500 lb Tongue Weight
Question:
Im looking for a solution to extending the tongue or hitch length for towing a trailer with an RV. Id like to extend the distance between the trailer and RV by 2-4 feet, but cannot find a product that will do that and still allow me to use my trailer with a toung weight of 500lbs.

We do have extensions that can provide 2 feet of extension that have enough capacity for 500 lbs of tongue weight. For that we have the # C45048 which can be used in a 24 or 34 inch overall length extension.
The catch is that your vehicle has to have a 2-1/2 inch hitch installed on it. There are no options that long for if the hitch is 2 inches since the leverage puts quite a bit of stress on the hitch and you'd want the higher capacities of the larger size.
