Solution for Diversi-Tech/Fastway Adjustable Ball Mount that Keeps Breaking Keys
Question:
Locking pin on the ball mount is frozen. I can remove entire thing from the truck receiver upper key turns, but cannot adjust the height of the ball because the key will only rotate about 80 degrees. I broke one key off in the lock and ordered another. Despite lots of WD-40 and teflon lubricants, I cant get it to budge. What should I try next? Heat?

If the ball mount you have is a Diversi-Tech or a Fastway (the new brand name) then what you'll want to do is get the re-key kit part # DTLBM02RK so that you can remove your old lock cores and install new ones that will function properly.
