For your 2016 Ford Fusion sedan the roof rack I recommend is the Rhino Rack part # RR52SR which is a confirmed fit. The reason I really like this rack is because it it's got aero shaped bars which help with wind noise and fuel mileage and because you get a great rack a better price than the more expensive options.

If you want something a bit more budget friendly we have the square bar version of the rack part numbers # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK358 which is also a fit. The square bars will make a bit more noise but still will hold kayak carriers well.

The Yakima JayLow part # Y04073 is a great option for a kayak carrier as well. It can carry up to kayaks as well up on their side or one kayak at an angle in the cradle.
