Can Atwood Gas and Electric Water Heater be Used in a 2008 Jayco 1007 Pop-up

Question:

Will this unit work for a 2008 Jayco 1007 pop up? The original does not have the electrical box on the back.

Atwood water heater # AT96117 is both gas and electric so if your original water heater was only gas that would be why it wouldn't have any electronics on it. You can use this water heater in your Jayco trailer so long as it will fit. The water heater itself is 12-1/2" long x 16" wide x 18" deep.

Please note: Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency, or gas supplier. This is standard practice for gas appliances and some major electric appliances.

If your existing heater is gas only then I also recommend adding panel # AT91230 which will allow you to power both electric and gas separately.
