Difference Between Taskmaster Wheel and Tire ST225/75R15 and Kenda ST225/75R15
Question:
I want to replace 700/16 trailer tires with either your no. TA54VR or AM32664 wheel and tire. What is the difference between these two products? How old are the tires that come with either, do they have to be newer than 6yrs old? Thank you.

The wheel and tire combos you mentioned are both similar in size and appearance as they are both Load Range D ST225/75R15 size tires mounted on a wheels with 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
The biggest differences are the speed ratings and warranties of the tires. The part # TA57VR has a tire with a speed rating of 81 mph and a 2-year warranty so it would be what I recommend. The Karrier is only rated for 65 mph with a 1-year warranty.
We go through so many tires here that most are only a few months old. You really do want to make sure your trailer tires are newer than 6 years as they commonly dry rot pretty bad at that point.
