Installing MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe - Smoke # MA00-07500K

Question:

I have a new RV with a maxair fan installed. This fan is too high and hard to read controls and settings. I would like to replace this fan with a new 7500 with remote. I am thinking that the new would mount in the same mounting without having to scrape off all the old putty ect. I was watching your video and it looks possible to mount in same rooftop hardware. I am a return customer

The MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe - Smoke # MA00-07500K referenced in your question will fit all standard 14 inch x 14 inch roof openings. If this is what you have in the roof of your RV, then this will work great. This unit will include both the roof mounting flange and hardware, so nothing else will be needed. I recommend using the included mounting flange and new putty/caulk in order to provide the best seal and installation.

This is a great 12V fan with the remote controlled fan speed you are looking for and a really nice built-in rain cover to protect your RV's interior.

I have attached the installation details for you to look at so you can see exactly what is required.
