Visual Difference Between Old and New Style of Valterra 1-1/2 inch Valve Seal
Question:
Time to replace the seals on my 1 1/2inch Valterra grey water dump valves. How do I tell if I need new style or old style seals? I have a 2002 Holiday Rambler Alumascape 5th wheel. I can send you some pics if that would help. Thanks...

Go ahead and send me the pictures and I'll take a look to see which 1-1/2 inch Valterra seal you would need. The biggest visual difference is that the new Bladex Style part # T1001-9VP has a small lip on one corner of it that's used for grabbing. In the attached picture it is pointed out.
The older style # T1001-7VP does not have that and has a thicker center section. I attached a picture of the two seals for you to check out as well.
