Weight Distribution System Recommendation for Tongue Weight of 1,300 lbs
Question:
2016 Ford F250 Hitch is 12000lbs with a 2inch shank or 19000lbs with 2.5inch shank. My NEW Trailer is GVWR 8995lbs / UVW 7230lbs / Hitch Weight at UVW is 856lbs / CCC is 1725lbs. I suspect my tongue weight to go up with so much of the CCC near the front of the trailer. Using 15 TW of GVWR 8995lbs I would have 1350lbs TW ... maxed out. My Old Reese Hitch is a 12000lbs Shank at 2inch / Spring Round Bars are 10000 GTW and 750 TW going to the old style mounted with U Bolts Dual Cam Sway Control. Pulled old lighter Trailer very well. What would you suggest for my new trailer situation.

Since your tongue weight is going to be 1,300 lbs when you go to tow and you already have a weight distribution shank from your old setup your best option is going to be the trunnion Strait Line system part # RP66130. This system has a tongue weight range of 800-1,500 lbs and has the only sway control setup available that works to prevent sway.
If you need a new hitch ball the part # 63840 has a 20k capacity and is 2-5/16 inch in diameter.
