B&W Gooseneck Replacement Ball For A 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD With Factory B&W Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I need a replacement BandW turnover underbed gooseneck ball, 2 5/16. My used truck came with the hitch already installed, but no ball. I see about 3 different ones on your site, that say replacement, but which one should I use? I have a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD with 6.6 Duramax, crew cab short bed. Plan to use it for a 25foot gooseneck flatbed trailer, so clearance shouldnt be an issue, I hope. Thanks. Eddie.

The correct factory replacement gooseneck ball for your 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD is the Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck part # BWGNXA2000. This ball is a direct factory replacement for your 2 5/16" inch ball.
The other options you saw that were for the B&W turnover gooseneck hitch have a few small variance such as: Shaft length, Ball size, and Offset. For example, if you have a short bed truck where the tongue of your trailer was too close to the cab of the truck, you could purchase an offset ball such as part # BWGNXA4085 to help with turning clearance problems. The Replacement Ball Hitch part # BWGNXA2006 for example is designed to accommodate for clearance issues on the new Toyota Tundra.
