Can Putty Tape be Used When Installing Plunger and Rubber Socket Door Holder
Question:
Hi, the male and female sides dont have gaskets between the part and trailer except for the rubber female side. Should I use putty tape on these? I have a vintage trailer and everything attached to it seems to have the putty tape!

You can use putty tape or any gasket material to mount the female side of the Plunger and Socket Door Holder # PLR64-66.
This assembly makes it easier to hold a trailer door open when needed.
