Where Will the Hitch Ball Location be for the B&W Gooseneck Hitch BWGNRK1308 on a 2012 Ram 2500

Question:

I would like to uninstall the drawtite and install the BandW so I can use the companion. My question is the ball hole in the red the same exact location? I dont want to have my bed a chopped up mess. 2012 Ram 2500 with 6 foot bed.

The location of where the B&W Gooseneck ball hole will be can be determined by measuring 45-1/2 inches from the rear edge of your bed towards the cab (this does not include the tailgate). You will then locate the center of your bed by measuring the distance between the wheel wells and dividing that by 2. The center of the hole will be at the intersection of the center of the bed and the 45-1/2 inches that you first measured.
