Recommended Kayak Carrier to Use on Thule Xsporter Truck Rack

I am looking for a solution to carry my 120 , Wilderness Pungo on my Thule X Sporter truck rack. I prefer something to a deck mounted solution as opposed to a j type rack.

To transport your 120 Wildreness Pungo Kayak with your Thule Xsporter Truck Rack, I recommend looking at the Thule Surf Pad - Crossbar Pad # TH845000. These pads are compatible with the Xsporter crossbars and will work well for hauling your kayak. The pads feature a split-bottom design that will wrap around the bars on your system, and elastic cords at the ends will cinch the pad into place.

You can then use straps like the Thule # TH521 to secure your kayak to the crossbars. These are cinching tie-downs with chromate-plated steel cam buckles and have a safe working load limit of up to 750 pounds.
