The SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box # SR7018 referenced in your question is compatible with almost all factory crossbars. As long as the factory crossbars on your Subaru Outback are less than 3-3/4 inches wide and you have a crossbar spread of 25-7/8 inches, 27-7/8 inches or 29-7/8 inches, then this Cargo Box will work great.

This box provides 18 cubic feet of storage space and a 100 pound capacity, although I also recommend checking the roof capacity of your Outback as listed in the owner's manual.
