Tekonsha Plug-And-Play Brake Controller Harness For A 2010 Ford F150

I purchased a Reese brake trailer brake model 743811 for my 2010 ford f-150 platinum. The truck has a factory installed tow package, I just need to add the aftermarket brake. Can you please tell me if I need to purchase an extra wiring harness to plug in? Also, once I am ready to install, where is the actual plug located?

The brake controller adapter harness compatible with the Reese Brake controller model number 743811 for your 2010 Ford F150 is our Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Ford F-150 part # 22292. The adapter is listed to work on both factory 4-Flat and 7-Way connectors. The pigtail connector you need to access is located behind your vehicle's dash panel. You will need to remove the dash panel in order to connect the adapter.
