Recommendation for a Bike Adapter Bar for a Sierra Schwinn
Question:
How can I secure my wife's Schwinn Sierra step-thru bike in the Transit 2-bike rack? There is no top bar to put the padded hook over.

In order to transport a bike with an alternative frame such as the Schwinn Sierra, you will need a bike adapter bar, which attaches from the seat post to the handlebar stem post, allowing it to work with your bike rack. I recommend the Thule Bike Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes, # TH982XT, which extends from 16" to 31-1/2", and has a capacity of 35 lbs.
I have included a link to a video review of the adapter bar far you.
