I have a solution for you but adapter # 853-7489 does not fit the older Thule Helium bike racks. What you can use is # HT02. This is a reducer sleeve that will allow you to use a 1-1/4 inch accessory in a 2 inch trailer hitch. Because it is a reducer sleeve it will not reduce the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch.
