Recommended Transmission Cooler For GMC Yukon XL Denali

Question:

I tow with this vehicle and am not happy with the trans temps I see though we are within towing limits. This vehicle HAS a factory transmission cooler. I talked to a guy who replaced his factory unit with a bigger one. My question is - does it make sense to replace factory unit with this one? Also, could this one be added on to whats there, and have two coolers?Yukon XL Denali w 6.2

On your GMC Yukon Denali XL, you can add a transmission cooler to your existing factory transmission cooler. I recommend Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class IV # D13504 which you were looking at due to its design.

This cooler will work well in-line of your current factory transmission cooler system which I recommend keeping.
